    Chiroprators using the NUCCA method are not to be compared to the more tradi-
    tional methods of correcting misalignment or subluxations of the spine and neck.

    NUCCA is concerned only with adjustment of the neck, principally the Atlas or C1
    and C2. This is a gentle correction that requires no twisting, turning, stretching or
    other physical movement of the head and neck.

    Patients only feel a gentle pressure under the ear at the base of the skull. To some
    it may appear at first as if nothing has happened at all in the way of moving any of
    the neck or spinal vertibrae for a correction.

    Because the human head has the average weight of a bowling ball, it's proper place-
    ment is critical to the correct alignment of the entire body. By properly aligning the
    head and Atlas it is possible to correct subluxations throughout the spine.
